WASTEWATER COLLECTIONS AND CONVEYANCE PROJECT 

The LOCSD signed a contract with the Wallace Group to provide design and cost estimating services for our project. The Wallace Group contract includes several key elements, including:

• Reconciling gravity and effluent collection system designs previously prepared by Stantec and REGEN by advancing both to a consistent 30% design level and standardizing cost estimates
• Preparing 30‑year lifecycle cost analyses for wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment
• Completing design engineering to 60% in the third quarter of 2026 and to 90% in early 2027, contingent on funding availability

This workshop will cover the options and related costs. It will also be an opportunity for you to ask the Wallace Group and Board of Directors questions about the document and its potential impacts. Importantly, this is an opportunity for you to tell the Board of Directors what you would like to see in a community solution.
